President's Message

     DataTeam originated in 1975 as a software development company specializing in business applications which are new and innovative. In the spring of 1979, DataTeam incorporated and expanded its operations to include small business computer system sales as well as computer servicing. DataTeam began developing and installing systems for industrial launderers in 1980. Since that time we have developed a fully real-time integrated Route Accounting System including in plant and remote soil counting.

     Over the years, DataTeam has installed products throughout North and South America and the Pacific Rim.

     Our goal is to help your people become more productive, efficient, and satisfied with their work. Our commitment is to serve you professionally and dependably.

     Large and small route servicing companies are plagued with the pandemonium of change orders, lost inventory, inaccurate driver settlements, and lack of coordination between sales, preparation, administrative and delivery personnel. DataTeam Route Management can turn this pandemonium into profit for you, happier employees and better service for your customers.     Even those special policies that a system should incorporate to retain your own personal style of business operation are programmed to your specifications. It all begins with setting up models of the typical invoices. From here on, only special changes for billing and sales are entered. The system automatically creates and updates records to keep all company personnel informed on the status of all accounts. Delivery books, route sheets, load sheets, invoices, and check-in sheets are all in agreement. All balancing becomes routine. Any deviations are resolved before the business day ends.

     The system also remembers. It remembers recharges, late payments, service charges, and replacement charges. It even remembers when contracts expire so you can visit a customer before a competitor does. When renewals are pending and competition is tough, you can quickly assess a customer's profitability over time to evaluate the most effective course of action.
